Become a Friend of Diverse City

Help remove barriers and make space for more people to  take part.

Your monthly support helps us make work in real, practical ways — from the first idea to the moment it reaches an audience.

Join from £5 a month and stand with us as we support artists and shape a fairer theatre.

“This is radical. It’s a blueprint for how work should be done — not perfection, but presence.”

– Claire Hodgson, Joint-Artistic Director.

What Being A Friend Means

Being a Friend of Diverse City is about standing alongside the work — not just watching from the outside.

Your support helps artists develop ideas, build careers, and take up space in an industry that hasn’t always made room for them.

It’s not about perks — it’s about people.

“It's changed my life. Diverse City has opened up what I thought was possible – for me and the work I make.”

– Harry Bassett, musician and composer

Who takes part in the arts is still shaped by income, background and access — and that gap hasn’t gone away. Diverse City exists to change that.

By becoming a Friend, you’re helping make the work possible — supporting artists, removing barriers, and opening up the performing arts to more people.
